I don't know about other brides-to-be but figuring out our date took some time to figure out. We got engaged August 2010 and lived in two different cities. I knew I would still be taking classes until December 2011 and did NOT want to get married and go back to school two days later. Further more once I was done taking classes I could move to the same city as my Mr. Since we had already been together for 4 years, what was the problem in waiting a little longer. This meant that the soonest we could do our wedding was January 2012. So did I want a winter wedding or a spring wedding? Summer was out of the question because by April in Florida it is usually in the high 80s and 100% humidity ... yuck! I also liked the idea of an outdoor ceremony so I didn't want it in the winter. The Mr.'s birthday in March 10th and I didn't want the wedding too close to his birthday.
So when we went to Postcard Inn we looked at the available dates in March. We settled on March 24th 2012! We also chose a wedding that started at dusk and March weather is some of the most beautiful weather in Florida. Should be in the low 70s at ceremony time (cross my fingers, eyes, toes and ... anything else).
How did you decide on a wedding date? Was it as involved and convoluted of a choice as us?
